Friday 190517 3 Rounder

Welcome to a number of newcomers to the Hut!
Stanley, pictured below, joins the ranks of our African athletes (Zimbabwe actually), and has quite a long history with yoga as well as distance running. Kim is also from the bottom half of the world, though I think “southern hemisphere” is likely a more accepted way to say the same thing. Barry– yes the guy with the muscles- has spent many years as an athlete where his primary sport was basketball. Claire has a significant other already at the Hut- and put it this way- if she practiced her skills in TaeKwonDo on him, Scott would be toast. Marc, is from Sweden and has been here in Malibu since this past December.
Please help me welcome them to CrossFit Malibu… each of these athletes is still within their Elements series and will be moving into group classes soon.
Stanley already has quite a strong position in the overhead squat… he will progress quickly!
Friday’s WOD at 7 and 9am and again at 3 and 5pm
Three rounds for time of:
10 DB snatch, left arm (60/40#)
10 chest to bar pull ups
10 DB snatch, right arm (60/40#)
10 chest to bar pull ups
Friday’s 4pm Open Training Hour
Saturday 9:30am BIG WOD
