CrossFit is not a one-and-done workout; it is a full fitness program that incorporates olympic lifts, calisthenics, and gymnastics. In order to get the most out of our program, we provide newcomers a 5-session introduction course to ensure your success in group classes.
In our CrossFit Elements Series we will:
  • Assess your fitness goals and personal needs
  • Determine your starting benchmarks to track your growth
  • Show you how to warm up and stretch effectively
  • Teach you safe techniques in CrossFit movements
  • Prepare you for Group Classes so you can train like a champion

OUR TRAINING METHOD

The magic is in the movement. CrossFit workouts are different every day and are personalized to help each athlete achieve their goals. The workouts may be adapted for people at any age and level of fitness. Kids welcome!

CONSTANT VARIATION

Every day brings a new challenge for your body and your mind while keeping things fun. You will get to see your progress and growth frequently when we redo certain reps to gauge fitness and improvement.

FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENTS

All movements are similar to or enhance what you already do in daily life (even burpees!).

UNIVERSALLY SCALABLE

With the help of our skilled coaches, every movement and workout can be modified to the individual’s needs and fitness level. Everyone is doing a pull-up, push-up, or squat adjusted to their level.

INJURY PREVENTION
Most everyone has had or has a nagging injury to deal with. Our experienced staff of Sports Medicine Graduates CrossFit Coaches* will help you work around them to strengthen, overcome, and prevent chronic injuries from reoccurring.

How "CrossFit Elements" WORKS

Learn CrossFit moves & methods in 5 intro sessions

1. Benchmark YOUR Fitness

What is your current fitness level? What do you want to be able to do? How do you want to feel? In your first workout, you’ll be able to gauge where you’re at and set fitness intentions.

2. SKILL WORK & MOBILITY

Proper technique and form are at the core of proper CrossFit training. Our CrossFit top-level coaches will teach you the essential movements to get the most out of your workouts without getting injured. 

3. LEARN THE LIFTS

Does the idea of holding a barbell over your head terrify you? Don’t worry. Even the strongest athletes start with the fundamentals. We’ll keep a close eye on you as you “wax on, wax off.” By the end of this training, you’ll squat, deadlift, and snatch the bar safely (and comfortably use these terms!).

4. BODYWEIGHT Training

There is more than one way to master a pull-up, whether it is with the assistance of bands or the resistance of a weight vest. At CrossFit Malibu every movement is scalable. With proper training, you’ll do gymnastic workouts and bodyweight exercises with confidence.

5. TEST & SEE YOUR RESULTS

6. JOIN CROSSFIT GROUP WORKOUTS

A not-so-secret success factor is our high-energy community. Group fitness helps keep you motivated and committed to your health while supporting the health of others. After getting approved by our coaches, you can choose your package and get started with classes.
