Friday 190208 Thirties

Take a look at all the personal records set in the month of January! Of course, scan the list for your name… and then scan again for names you might not know. I help you out my mentioning some of those for you. A few newcomers to the Hut were able to improve upon their Baseline Workout. As you know, that is the first test newcomers face when they arrive at CrossFit Malibu… then it is tested again a few weeks or so later. Stacy, Joey, Kayla, and Sarah all improved significantly on their second bout of baseline- collectively taking over 7 minutes off of their times. Kayla also increased her push press and Joey smashed a 500m row record by 3 seconds. Know when you meet them in group classes you will have a reason to congratulate them and welcome them to the Hut!

Friday’s WOD at 7 and 9am and again at 3 and 5pm
For time complete:
30 steps overhead walking lunge (20/10kg plate)
30 knees to elbows
30 strict abmat sit ups (a new Friday tradition it seems?!)
30 calorie row
30 strict abmat sit ups
30 knees to elbows
30 steps overhead walking lunge
post time and scaling
