Today is the open announcement for 16.2 of the CrossFit Games Open… The announcement is at 4:45 PM and will run for one hour and 15 minutes during the 5 PM specialty class timeslot, as usual over the next five weeks. We look forward to a great turnout from our five intramural teams.
Our WoD today is fun, fun, fun! (but aren’t they all? 🙂 it’s lends itself well to cheering for friends and testing yourself to try and stay on pace for each of the rounds: because after all, you get to rest as needed. Those of you doing 16.2 on Friday might consider only doing two rounds of this – but you might get sucked in and just do all three 🙂
Thursday’s WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm.
Midday Open Training Hour, 4:45pm Open Announcement
Three rounds each for time of:
10 DB thrusters (60/40#)
20 KB swings – American (32/20 KG)
30 double unders (60 singles)
400/300 m row
Rest as needed and cheer for others between rounds
Post each finish time to chalkboard/journals
*Any athlete who finishes three rounds of this workout within 10 seconds of each of their other rounds will get the opportunity to go for one extra round 🙂
