Let’s make sure this is clear right from the get go… these 800m runs are not jogs, they are near max effort runs! 🙂 Understanding, and implementing, that is going to make all the difference in getting the potent stimulus this workout has to offer you. You’ll take off from the front of The Hut and run those 800s HARD, being careful as usual on the entire run. As soon as you’re back to your station, you’ll complete 20 pull-ups. Scale these so you can get 20 reps in 3 sets or fewer. You’ll then rest the remainder of the 8:00. If you are a slower than 4:30 800m runner, scale the distance to 600m.
