Let’s talk about ANOTHER event in the Taco and Decathlon Decade Party: Event three. But why do we keep using all of this secretive language about things. Why don’t we give Event Number Three a name so that you can put a name to the face!
Why don’t we call it Fran!
But wait… there is already a workout called Fran and if there is already a workout called Fran then how can we use the name “FRAN” for event number three?
Well, that is fbecause Event 3 IS Fran!
Which, of course, is 21-15-9 reps/round for time of thursters and pull ups. But for the Decathlon and Taco Challenge… you will be doing Fran as a team of two. You will divide up the work with a partner any way you want in a work/rest format. The partnership will need to complete forty-five thrusters and forty-five pull ups using the classic repetition scheme of 21-15-9. One person can do all of the thrusters, while other does all of the pull ups. Or you can trade off small sets until the thrusters are done and then take turns on pull ups. One partner could do all the movements in the round of 21 and then the other could do all of the round of 15 before the first partner steps in to complete the final round of 9.
Yes, you can complete it any way you want as long as it is work/rest and as long as you are following the 21-15-9 rep scheme. Read this all through one more time to let it sink in!
This event must be completed between the hours of 7:45 and 8am. A tight window, but it will be VERY SHORT!
