Wednesday 190918 Two Minute Rests

The next Whole Life Challenge starts on Sept 28th and our team is recruiting more members. You can join AND you can invite friends and family who do not come to the Hut. It can be done virtually and so far HALF of our team is joining us via the internet. Same challenge, same team and predictable results! begins at the end of next week- which is also the Decathlon and Taco Extravaganza- dubious timing BUT your only one day away from getting back on track! The Second Event in the CrossFit Malibu Decathlon and Taco challenge: begins at 7am. Yes, at the same time as the first event- but one CAN and SHOULD do BOTH. It is a lifting event- perfectly suited to each and every CrossFit Malibuite. Yes YOU can do it! Once again, best to arrive at 6:30am and get in some coffee, warm up, fraternizing with the other competitors, etc. And because I am getting stormed by text messages with questions, I will answer a frequent one here: YOU YES CAN DO THE ENTIRE EVENT. Just like any class you take- you can scale and/or modify everything. Please keep reading these updates!

Wednesday’s WOD at  6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
5 3-minute rounds of:
1 turkish get up on each side, 60/40#DB
15 single arm push press, alternate as desired 60/40#DB
Max rep weighted pull ups*
Rest exactly 2 minutes between rounds
Post total number of pull ups and loads
*Pull up loading for Rx=round: 1- 60/40#, 2- 50/30#, 3- 40/20#, 4-30/10#, 5-20#, 6- 10/5#
Loading for scaled= same level of difficulty each set
Wednesday 5pm Specialty Session- CrossFit Open Preparation
