So a picture is worth a thousand words… but most fitness pre/post pictures are semi-nudes with creepy bathroom mirror selfies that make me cringe and utter the single word: “yech!” Even if the transformation is clear- it always looks like a person in a “pre pic” is pushing out the belly and the “post pic” athlete is sucking it in a bit excessively. And apparently there is a lot going on in the world of photo editing that suggests people are actually FAKING their transformation photos (GASP!).
But take this simple mug shot. Lincoln back in early 2014, about 4-5 months after starting with us at CrossFit Malibu- and the one I took of him today. Great guys, BOTH of them! But it is very clear that Lincoln version 2019 has some strength and power that Lincoln 2014 did not have. He has been a die-hard athlete at the Hut since day 1 and has had SO much success- I am tremendously proud of his hard work and accomplishments. Not to mention, he is a more physically healthy and capable human being. He is routinely on the PR board for improving himself across a broad spectrum of assessments. He continues to make strides in any and everything he moves towards. You might not know that he is an accomplished musician, prolific composer, and PhD professor at Pepperdine… and I like to speculate that he might just be the strongest music professor in the business! Keep it up Lincoln.
