WODs for March 25th-30th 2019

EVENT at the Hut this FRIDAY… MOVIE NIGHT!

This coming Friday March 29th, 6:30pm we are going to show the documentary The Dawn Wall... an INCREDIBLE movie about climber Tommy Caldwell and his project to climb the toughest route on El Capitan in Yosemite… In my opinion- an even better movie than Free Solo (which won an Oscar for best Documentary this year)… If you haven’t seen Free Solo- that’s your homework for the weekend… then come watch The Dawn Wall with us on Friday night starting at 6:30pm. “Bring your own take out food” (or your made from scratch homemade meal!)- so that you can eat dinner while you watch the movie. Popcorn, great. Drinks your choice as well! You know the seating we have to offer is boxes, benches and abmats- feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets to make it cozy- and bring everyone!

 
Monday's WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
15-12-9-6-3 reps/round for time of:
50/35# DB hang power clean and jerk
Weighted pull ups
Post time and loads
 
Monday 5pm Specialty Session- Strength
CrossFit Total Circuit Style, 3 reps each movement
 
Tuesday's WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
Three rounds for time of:
30 KB swings (24/18kg USA)
30 burpees
30 abmat sit ups
Post time, load, and scaling
 
Tuesday's 5pm Open Training Hour
 
Wednesday's WOD at  6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
As many rounds as possible in 9 minutes of:
12 cal row
12 push ups
Post number of rounds and remaining reps
 
Wednesday 5pm Specialty Session- Underground Strength
 
Thursday's WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
Four rounds for time of:
15 box jumps (36/30")
400m run
Post time and scaling
 
Thursday's 5pm Open Training Hour
 
Friday's WOD at 7 and 9am and again at 3 and 5pm
OPEN WOD 18.5
As many rounds as possible in 7 minutes of:
3 chest to bar pull ups
3 thrusters (43/29kg)
6 chest to bar pull ups
6 thrusters (43/29kg)
Continue for reps or 9, 9- 12,12- 15,15... until the time cap
Post number of total reps, load, and scaling
Compare to Saturday March 24th 2018.
