Tuesday I attended a workshop at The Ranch for all recent hires to the CrossFit L1 Seminar Staff. Participants from Dubai, South Africa, China, Wales, Brazil, Australia and every place in between were in attendance… even Canada. At the training, CrossFit’s founder Greg Glassman said that he has no hope for the public health but has every hope for the health of the athletes using the CrossFit method at any of the 15,000 affiliates around the world. That the work we do helping people to get “off the carbs and off the couch” is like providing a lifeboat to the teeming masses of those drowning from sendentarism and over consumption. CrossFit, not the current medical establishment, is the first line of defense against chronic disease and decrepitude.
