Tuesday 181106 AMRAP 20

Nice and bright out there at 6am on the roads for this 400m run AMRAP… unless of course you attend the 6pm class in which case it will be pitch black. Yes it is that time of year again when the sunrises outside the Hut kick off the first class of the day and the darkness descends during the specialty sessions at 5pm. There tends to be some natural uncomfortableness that comes with the change of the season… perhaps having more difficulty getting motivated to get in for an afternoon class session. One tried and true method that athletes have employed over the last few days is CALLING EACH OTHER and making an appointment to show up at a given class session. There were a few people who showed up on Saturday morning this past week ONLY because they had committed to each other that they were going to be there. AND they were! Way to show up for each other… everybody wins!

Put this on your calendar for the end of the month: Friday November 30th at 6pm We ring in the onset of the holiday season with our Festivus Celebration. We will join together for a community-wide potluck dinner in celebration of Christmas, Hanukkah, or any other end of the year event you enjoy. Save the date- more info, like food sign up sheet- will be coming soon.

Reminder that Thursday we close at 6pm. In other words- class is cancelled this week Thursday at 6pm. We are heading up to Pepperdine Campus to hear Greg Gassman’s talk. See our most recent instagram post for details.

As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:
400m run
45/30kg power snatch, 8 reps
16 push ups
45/30kg power cleans, 8 reps
Post time, load, and scaling
