An impressive October here at the Hut with many personal records set! Improvements all over the place: A huge month for Overhead Squats- with serious bumps for many athletes who did that 1RM strength WOD. That scenario repeated itself a few days later with 1RM power cleans. Then once again with deadlifts. As you might have guessed, we were leading up to a few heavy days with opportunities for setting records… and you did not disappoint. Keep in mind that if you intend to get in for these heavy day PR sessions and can’t make it for scheduling reason… try and make it to an open gym time slot. It helps IMMENSELY when you make an appointment to meet someone else to train with that night- so set something up and get in here and lift all the weights.
