Thursday 181025 TGU & Tabata

Looking forward to the Sports Medicine 440 class doing today’s WOD. They have been on the cusp of CV-FM-HI for about 6 weeks… and will have a special session midday to be taken through a standard workout of the day. Below, students in that class do a 5×5 strict press lifting session.

The WODCast Podcast was here on Monday to record episode #348 of their long-running CrossFit/lifestyle program. They are kind of like a cross between Phil Donahue and Howard Stern Show. This week Eddie, the host, was on particularly good behavior, though there is still some language that is not WFS. Click here to listen to the episode.

SPME 440 trains at Pepperdine CrossFit’s “The Cage” on Monday afternoons.

Thursday’s WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
Turkish Get Up, a limit of 8 minutes to establish a new 1RM

Tabata Something Else
Tabata pull ups
Tabata push ups
Tabata sit ups
Tabata squats
The Tabata interval is 20 seconds of max repetition work followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 intervals. There is no rest between movements, only the included 10 seconds for transition.
Post total number of repetitions for each exercise
