Welcome to CrossFit Malibu… goes out to of a few newcomers to the Hut.
Yury joins in with group classes this week after completing his rounds of Elements. He travels a lot and yet has been diligent to program his own version of high intensity training while on the road. Brennan has had his share of competitive sports and brings a history of strength and conditioning along with him- though he tends to surf a lot more than he “works out” these days. Zephy lives in NYC and will be in the area for a year attending graduate school… she has been doing CrossFit in Brooklyn and has been with us for a few weeks now. Curtis is a Pepperdine student and is new to CrossFit- and after finishing his Elements program joined his first official group class on Saturday where he was greeted by 2 other Africans- his “home-continent!” Introduce yourself to them– you will recognize them because you won’t recognize them! Give them a hand if they have questions with anything as they get comfortable settling in to their new habitat.

Wednesday’s WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
Every 3 minutes for 7 rounds, complete:
1 strict press, 3 push press, 5 push jerks
Post heaviest load and number of reps at that load
Wednesday 5pm Specialty Session-Olympic weightlifting
