Wednesday 180905 Back Squats Variety Pack

This past month the PR filled up in a much different way than usual. If you take a closer look at the movements/workouts/lifts that made the board you will notice that just about all of the personal records happened outside of group WODs. Clearly- the PRs that Lincoln and Andy hit on “Cindy” were in a class session but if I’m not mistaken- the remainder of the records were all set in personal training sessions, in Open Training Hour, or within the Elements Series of classes. Looking back through the month of August it is apparent that not many opportunities for “compare-to-WODs” were offered other than some heavy lifting WODs. So perhaps get in here during Open Training Hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5pm and Fridays at 4pm. Consider taking an Elements SpecialtyTraining Series of 3 sessions to work directly on a skill or lift that needs some extra attention. Both of these avenues are available for those of you who’d like to seek some extra training to work directly on your weakness (AKA- “emerging skills!”)

Another way: attend some specialty training classes and they begin today! For the month of September- gymnastics is on Monday and Olympic weightlifting is on Wednesdays- both are at 5pm. You are encouraged to show up; do your best to commit to the entire month!

Way to go athletes with PRs in the month of August. It is the QUALITY not the QUANTITY.
