Tuesday 180717 AMRAP 20 Triplet

It is interesting that over the last few weeks I have specifically taken note of people talking to me about activities, sports, outdoor pursuits that they no longer engage in anymore. Reasons (excuses?) range from no time, to no money, to not being able to physically continue. What is with that? Not a single person told me they didn’t like doing these things any more… just that they stopped for one reason or another. I probed a bit in effort to raise some excitement towards picking up one or more of these activities. Mainly, though, there was a longing, wistful look in the eye that seemed more nostalgic than hopeful that these pursuits would ever be picked up again.

Now be straight with you… these were NOT conversations with CrossFit Malibu athletes but with CFM prospects (and let’s be certain- there are only 2 types of people in Malibu: CFM athletes and CFM prospects!) Had any of YOU given me excuses like above, I would have had somewhat different responses. But what I DO what to hear from you NOW is this: what is something physical that you aim to pick back up and try again? Jaxon has recently taken on more rigorous bike riding in the form of mountain biking. He has taken some lessons, gotten out on some local trails… so tell us: what do you want to get back into?

Tuesday’s WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:
10 L pull-ups
10 handstand push-ups
20 banded good mornings (2/1″)
