Today’s WOD has all the elements of an olympic lifting clean and jerk strength session: deconstructed. In the culinary realm that concept has been used to classify any dish that contains each of the constituent pieces of the final result- but is constructed in a way that these ingredients are put together in a way that is different than the in the expected recipe. In this deconstructed clean and jerk session- you can see that the clean, squat, and jerk are all layered together to eventually comprise a full lift- but in a way that builds strength in each segment separately. Suffice it to say that you can probably figure out by process of elimination what the Oly Specialty class is going to be doing this evening!

Wednesday’s WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
Hang squat clean 3-3-3
Front squat 3-3-3 (rack)
Split jerk 3-3-3 (rack)
Post heaviest 3 rep set for each movement
Wednesday 5pm Specialty Class- Olympic weightlifting
