Remember way back in late February to the first week of the Open and we did 18.1? It was a 20 minute AMRAP that consisted of toes to bar and rowing… then sandwiched right in between were dumbbell clean and jerks for ten reps (5 on one side then 5 on the other) at 50/35#.
Today we keep the midline focus of toes to bar but substitute them for Scott ups. Since today is a couplet, we can knock off 5 minutesto make it a 15 minute AMRAP… and go with the DB C&Js but for a few more reps. And if you can- heavier!
A final note: 18.1 allowed for a push or strict press… today because the intention is to go a bit heavier…we will REALLY focus on a jerk! You’ve seen more push jerk in 2018 than ever before- and they are not going away. So succumb and make them part of your repertoire.

Thursday’s WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
As many rounds as possible in 15 minutes of:
21 scott ups (15/5kg bumper plate)
14 single-arm DB hang power clean and push jerk (70/50#)
Post number of rounds, remaining reps, load, and any modifications
Thursday 5pm Open Training Hour
