Tuesday 180313 Broken DT Version

The intention with today’s workout is to go just a bit heavier than you feel like going! If in the past you have scaled the load for this hero’s workout to 50 kg  and were able to finish in under 12 minutes, you should bump the load up to roughly 55 kg. Notice that today we will take exactly 1 minute of rest between each round. That is intended for you to be able to bring the heart rate down and the will power up in order to get through the deadlifts, hang power cleans, and push jerks in under two minutes per round. Obviously, Since you are using a load heavier than before, you will likely have to break up the work. No problem! Again, refer to the intention of this work out – to use a load that is heavier than you have used in the past. Think of this as a strength biased  Version of DT.

Tuesday’s WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
Broken “DT”- a version
5 Rounds for time of:
70/52kg deadlift, 12 reps
70/52kg hang power clean, 9 reps
70/52kg push jerk, 6 reps
Rest exactly one minute
Not a direct compare, but use previous “DT”s- times and weights to determine scaling/loads.
