When we say that our workouts are constantly varied – it means that day-to-day today, we Integrate a variety of different movements into many different templates of programming. We mix up the length of the training session, the number of repetitions, the load, and of course, the movements themselves. It prepares us for a broad, general and inclusive type of fitness… ready for anything! What we are reminded of today, however, is that constantly varied may sometimes mean doing the same thing two days in a row. Today we do another set of deadlifts- same total number of reps in the four rounds for time – and maybe even the same load as yesterday. Sometimes life demands that we do a few days in a row of the exact same activity… So what’s the harm in training like that, as long as it’s only sometimes!
