As essential as Wednesday’s snatch balance work is towards developing olympic lifts- today’s bodyweight training is to developing a well-rounded level of athleticism. The body control, kinesthetic awareness, and sheer strength that gymnastics movements require offer MUCH to the individual seeking a broad level of physical fitness. Three attempts of each of the following movements:
Max rep set L pull up
Max time hold in L (or h) sit (rings/parallettes)
Max rep tempo push up
Max time handstand hold
Post totals for each of the 4 movements
