Most of us at CrossFit Malibu have some previous experience playing a sport or doing some form of exercise to be healthy and fit. With this… some of us might not realize that there are people out there in the “REAL WORLD” who have ZERO experience of working out, of trying to eat a nutritious diet, and seeking better general health. In fact there are MORE individuals out there who could benefit from CrossFit Malibu who don’t even consider themselves as possible candidates for our program. And YOU KNOW that they are wrong!

Click this link and take a look at this CrossFit Journal article and read about a couple who joined a CrossFit box in New Jersey and lost an accumulated total weight of over 600 pounds! More than 300 pounds each. And they did it by attending CrossFit classes religiously and drastically changing their diet. They scaled and modified EVERY class along the way… until one day- their lives has changed literally beyond recognition.

Do you know anyone out there who is in dire straits and NEEDS a transformation? Not just a desire to lose a few pounds or hopes of finding their six pack abs… but someone who is diabetic, obese, and has a serious medical need for a drastic change in their life? We are looking for a few new athletes who fit this profile. Help us help someone you love.

Thursday’s WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
As many rounds as possible in 15 minutes of:
4 bar muscle ups
6 Turkish get ups (45/30# DB)
8 elevated DB push ups (feet on 25kg plate)
Post rounds, remaining reps, and scaling to chalkboard/journals
