Friday 170825 Jerks and Squats E3M

In about 3 weeks another Whole Life Challenge begins (on Sept 16th to be precise Click HERE to join our team). To begin the WLC this time around… CrossFit Malibu is adding another layer:  THE WHOLE 30. A complete dietary program and nutritional “reset”

To begin this season’s WLC, we HIGHLY encourage you to also begin the Whole 30 on Sept 15th… more to come about how to do that. In the meantime, read THIS about Step 1 of the Whole 30... which explains the WHY of this 30 day program. Here is a paragraph from Step One:
We cannot possibly put enough emphasis on this simple fact—the next 30 days will change your life. It will change the way you think about food, it will change your tastes, it will change your habits and your cravings. It could, quite possibly, change the emotional relationship you have with food, and with your body. It has the potential to change the way you eat for the rest of your life. We know this because we did it, and tens of thousands of people have done it since, and it changed our lives (and their lives) in a very permanent fashion.
This quite possibly could be YOUR MISSING PIECE!  We have had a number of CFM athletes go through the Whole 30 with excellent results. Now YOU try it alongside us!

Friday’s WOD at 7 and 9am and again at 3 and 5pm
Every 3rd minute for 8 rounds, AHAP, of:
Push jerk, 3 reps (no rack)
Front squat, 5 reps (squat clean first rep ok)
Post heaviest load and number of sets at that load to chalkboard/journals
-jerk and squat at same load each set, increase loads as desired
-must finish all nine reps in one minute so there’s at least 2 minutes to rest before next round

Saturday’s WOD at 9:30am

Sunday’s Beach hang out at Zuma 8-10am, tower 14
