Yesterday’s barbell snatches might have simply been a warm up for today’s overhead squats. And today’s part 1 overhead squats MIGHT just be a warm up for the sixty reps of overhead squats in part 2. Then again perhaps back-to-back days of snatch and overhead squats show up like that just to ensure that everyone gets at least one day of “the world’s greatest barbell movements.” Or maybe I’m just revealing my secret preferences!

Part I. Overhead squat
10 minute time limit to work up as heavy as possible for 2 reps
Post 2 rep load to chalkboard/journal
Part 2. Four Rounds for time of:
35/25kg overhead squat, 15 reps
20 hand release push ups
25 front rack plate step lunge (15/10/5kg)
Post time and loads to chalkboard/journals
