This workout takes a lot of guts. Each set of max reps requires that you suck it up and fight back against the voice in your head that says to you, “that’s fine, that’s enough, just rest- no point in overdoing it.”
But that voice doesn’t know what’s best for you. That voice isn’t doing you any favors. As a reminder to you, it’s the same voice that says to you, “one more cookie (or beer, or chip, or etc….) isn’t going to hurt anything.”
Find another voice. Find a stronger more willful voice that overpowers the other. Get another rep, dig a little deeper each set, each round. Tell yourself that is does matter that you get in one more. That you CAN hold on for another second. Find this in yourself every single time. Ten opportunities today to overpower that OTHER voice with something more powerful. Dig deep… it’s worth it.

5 rounds for max repetitions of:
Body weight bench press
Pull ups/weighted pull ups
Post all rounds and total reps of bench and total reps of pull ups- with weights for each- to journals and chalkboard.
