This is the first metcon workout in a LONG time containing barbell hang squat cleans. There are many recent training sessions with heavy loads with barbells or metcons with DB hang squat cleans. The idea today is to be able to link together a few of them before dropping, regripping, and then getting right back into the rhythm. The chest to bar pull ups adds an extra element of work to an already challenging couplet. The increased load and the higher level of pull up will result in a time domain longer than “Fran”- so expect to be on the clock for over 10 minutes… and likely more.
Saturday morning we will not have anything going on at the Hut- instead we will be at Zuma Beach for an 8am water session and then at 9:30am for a Beach WOD. We meet on the sand just past the main entrance of Zuma Beach. Easy to find free parking on PCH if you come for the water time. It will get more difficult as 9am closes in. Parking in the Zuma lot will be easy anytime before ether start of the WOD.

21-15-9 reps for time of:
55/40kg hang squat clean
Chest-to-bar pull ups
Post time and scaling to chalkboard/journals
