For those of you who attended last night’s Oly class- you got some work on your hang squat cleans. We worked on getting under the bar FAST after a complete hip drive. Finishing the drive while fully extending the knees and hips is followed immediately by dropping under the bar as quickly as possible. At the same time the elbows need to shoot through immediately to provide a landing spot on the front rack for the barbell. Today’s AMRAP adds more weight to these and a few more reps but the idea is the same. Drive the bar up strong and get right under. Maybe attending Wednesday’s 5pm snatch and OHS specialty class will help you on an upcoming WOD? Better to get in here and practice, just to be safe! We already know that the work you did last night on push jerks will come in very handy this Friday.

5 hang squat cleans (60/45kg)
