Monday 170403 AMRAP Triplet

This week we begin a new specialty series of Olympic weightlifting for the month of April at 5pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. Each Monday features technique and movement skills with the clean and jerk . Within the hour setting athletes will also get strength sets and supplemental work. Wednesday night at 5pm is set aside for the snatch and will include additional work with overhead squats. This class is open to current CrossFit Malibu members and it is highly recommended that athletes commit to attend as many of the classes possible over the 4 week series- which helps with continuity as classes build on previous weeks’ activities. You can choose to attend only Mondays, only Wednesday or BOTH days- but again- commit for the entire month. Open gym is not an option on Mon/Wed at 5pm, Open gym DOES continue for Tues/Thur at 5pm. Commit, work, improve.

Monday’s WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
As many rounds as possible in 15 minutes of:
70/55kg power clean, 3 reps
15 wall ball shots (20/14#)
200m sprint
Post number of rounds and remaining reps to chalkboard/journals

5pm Olympic weightlifting specialty class- Clean and Jerk Mondays
