Thursday 170119 Push Press 5RM, Russian Annie

For all participants of the Whole Life Challenge,  remember to attend the Saturday 8:30 AM workout – which will be used as the preliminary test for physical performance. This test will be repeated at the end of the eight week period.   Even for those of you who have not yet signed up – if you are even considering joining the challenge then make sure you attend this special Saturday morning work out.  If you are unable to make it on Saturday, you can make up the work out at any 5 PM open gym training hour. Mark it on your schedule now… And do the same for the Saturday eight weeks away.

The front rack position: ankle and hip mobility, upright torso, elbows up. Keep working on all areas to improve it.

Thursday’s WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm
Push Press
20 minutes to a 5 rep max, from rack
Recent push press: July 20 2016 3RM, May 24 2016 7×3, March 2 2016-5×5, Dec 30 2015-7×3, Dec 12-1RM
A goal is to push press for 5 reps what has previously been pressed for 3 reps

Russian Annie
50-40-30-20-10 reps of double unders blended with
25-20-15-10-5 Russian KB swings (32/24kg)
Post time and load in chalkboard/journals
