Thursday 170112 Deficit Deadlifts

Say hi to a couple of new CrossFit Malibu athletes.  Cass joined us a few weeks ago and just completed Elements, he’s a recent USC grad and is currently in the MBA program at Pepp.  Tessa also just joined group classes after completing Elements- she has been getting to the Hut quite often since “graduation.”  Teila and Lindsey both work at lululemon and completed Elements this past Monday, so look to see them dropping into classes soon.  Currently in Elements sessions are Kathy and Dusty.  Kathy is a veteran real estate agent with Coldwell Banker in Malibu.  Dusty is in high school and he runs on the cross country and track teams.  Please introduce yourselves to them before, during or after class… help them out with those things that you might think are simple like: what to write down in the journal after a workout, where do the change plates and collars get put away, how do you keep from getting the dreaded monkey bite in a WOD containing more than 100 sit ups, is that yellow outhouse REALLY the CrossFit Malibu Spa and Resort, and how do I clean up my sweat off the ground? Welcome all- we are happy to have you here!

Post load and number of sets at heaviest load to chalkboard/journals
No dropping, but doesn’t have to be touch and go, use your max load from last Monday as a guideline; you knew this looked familiar didn’t you?
