How are inversions going for you? Are you finding that you can hold certain positions for greater duration? Or maybe finding that you have more strength and/or confidence to try more challenging modifications? Both? Keep up with the challenge- but be smart about it (instead of “pig-headed”, that is a quote that I will explain another time). If you are experiencing any negative aspects to daily inversions (pain in wrists, neck tightness, or maybe some broken blood vessels in the forehead or in the eye- yes that happens)– then back off. Try new positions to avoid pain, hold for less time or even opt out for a day or 2. Keep focus on the big picture of long term improvement. Talk to your coach to determine what is best for you individually.
