You might have noticed the “new guy” training at CrossFit Malibu over the past 6-7 weeks. His name is Bill and he has lived back here in our neighborhood since about the time you were born. He played hockey in middle school and baseball for quite a few years. He also did mention that he used to play golf, “but not since the Air Force.” So that would mean he hasn’t played since 1959?! 15*12*9 reps of clean and jerk, as heavy as possible
Post load and number of breaks (goal is none) for each set to chalkboard/journals
Touch and go at floor only. Even a re-grip off the floor is considered a “break.” Active breaks in the front rack, hip crease or even overhead are all allowed and necessary. No dropping from overhead- except in emergency or on the VERY FINAL rep of each set. Use same load for each set… and more than you did on 160919.
*Rest as needed between sets, rest long enough to get the next set unbroken.
