We have been looking forward to this day for many many months. And while you might think I am talking about national and local elections, I am not. What I am referring to is back-to-back WODs featuring REST! That is right… not just “for time”… but also “rest exactly 2 minutes” built right in. This is somewhat different than yesterday when “rest as needed” was the prescription. Yesterday- aside from being a nausea inducing type of training session- the rest break was intended to restore you to like new condition. Well, maybe not BRAND new, but like new. Enough rest ensured that your system was ready and at least somewhat willing to undergo another bout of work after an equal duration of rest. Today, with exactly 2 minutes of rest the situation will be different for everyone… and will be different in each round. Look forward to feeling ready to go after the first rest break… and then those 2 minutes will go pretty quickly as you work into the latter rounds. Regardless of how rest is programmed into a WOD, rest assured that there are always reasons that these breaks are included in any given workout.

Tuesday’s WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm. 5pm open training hour
Five rounds for time of:
Squat snatch, 5 reps (60/45kg)
25 wall ball shots (20/14″)
Rest exactly 2 minutes
Post time and loads to chalkboard/journals
