Monday 161003 Heavy Press Variety

Take a look below at lots of athletes’ progress for the month of September.  CrossFit Total was programmed at the top of the month during the first CFT Specialty class of the cycle- and there were about 15 different records set in that session alone.  These athlete are going to have to keep up the hard work to set NEW PRs over the 7 week training series… the retest will be on October 24th.  The movements tested in CrossFit Total are back squat, shoulder press and deadlift.  There is a 4th PR possibility with the sum total of these lifts.  We start off the month of October today with a heavy overhead strength session which can go a long way towards bumping up that total.

For your schedule: October 29th Saturday 9:30am Halloween WOD.  Wear a sweat-friendly costume, bring a pumpkin and enjoy the special workout of the morning.

Shoulder press 1-1-1-1-1
Push press 3-3-3-3-3
Push/split jerk 5-5-5-5-5
Post heaviest load for each lift to chalkboard/journals/PR whiteboard
