This one is scheduled just because it is the “official” first day of the CrossFit Games weekend! What other way would you want to kick off your 3 day WOD-watching binge? I know that many of you all will not be attending any or all of the Games this weekend.. but do tune in every now and then and check out the action.

Congratulations to all Masters and Teen athletes– as their 2016 Games Competition finished up this evening with their final event, which was For Time: 27 chest to bar pull ups and then 2 rounds of “DT” (12 deadlifts, 9 hang power cleans and 6 jerks). This took just a handful and a half of minutes! Maybe we can repeat that one soon (read: we WILL repeat that soon:)

And remember…On the schedule for this coming Sunday morning 8 AM – 9:30 AM we meet together again for another installment of a “Go Outside and Play” date. We will be at Zuma Beach lifeguard tower number 14… On the Trancas side of Zuma. Bring fins, boogie boards, surfboards – anything you’d like to use in the water. Everyone is welcome – and we highly encourage those of you that rarely get in the water. These morning sessions are really about you, encouraging you to get in the water and feel more comfortable in the waves. Who knows – maybe in a couple weeks you will even look forward to joining the CrossFit Malibu triathlon training series
