Friday 160603 Bench Press and Row

Last week Holden placed 3rd in his age group in a high altitude mountain bike race held in Gunnison, Colorado. Lots of elevation gain across the 32 mile course. Holden puts in his work on the trails and here at the Hut. Hard work pays off- congrats Holden.

The Original Growler is for experienced mountain bikers only and takes place in rugged, isolated backcountry terrain. While your safety is our priority and we have a robust EMS plan and experienced and trained personnel, responding to and evacuating an injured rider could be time consuming and difficult. Riders must possess the skills and judgment necessary to assess difficult and challenging trails and roads and negotiate them in a safe manner. NO BEGINNERS, PLEASE!

Friday’s WOD at 7 and 9am, 3 and 5pm
Noon Open Training Hour

Bench press
20 minutes to a heavy 5 rep set
-then-
at 50% of 5 rep bench:
3 rounds each for time of:
bench press, 20 reps
400/300m row
rest as desired
Post load and time for each set to chalkboards/journals
Ex: 70kg x 5 reps || 2:17, 2:32, 2:52 at 35kg
