Top of the month and so we congratulate all those who posted personal records on a wide variety of events over the past 4 weeks’ time. Something interesting usually catches my eye when I look over one of these charts… and this month is no exception. This month, however, is a new aspect that I haven’t noticed before. Typically we talk about a few individuals with MANY different new records OR we discuss some ideas about why so many people PR’d on specific events. Today the point of focus is the fact that there are a LOT of different people who set PRs! In fact, I count 22 unique record-setters this month. Sure there are couple individuals who set 3 or more… but I dare say there are people who set records today than any other month. But who is keeping track anyway!
