Wednesday 160427 “Diane”

Today’s WOD, “Diane” is another installment of a CrossFit “Benchmark Girl WOD”- which, if you haven’t yet noticed, we have been programming one each week for the month of April.  Cindy on a Monday in the first week of April and Jackie the week after- on a Friday.  Helen came up last Thursday and tomorrow, a Wednesday, we have Diane.  That begs the question… what will we have next Tuesday?!

Diane was run as the first WOD in the CrossFit Games Regionals back in 2012, Dan and Kristan won that event. Watch their performances by clicking on their names… but FIRST- I want you to read the workout details below and estimate how fast you think they finish these WODs!  Then I want YOU to think through how fast you will do this WOD.  Consider that you will deadlift about 70% of your 1RM (if the Rx weights listed are too heavy for you) and how will you modify your handstand push ups if you are not yet ready to bang out 45 of them today!

Wednesday’s WOD at 7 and 9am, 4 and 6pm
Midday open training hour at noon, 5pm running specialty class
“Diane”
21-15-9 reps/round for time of:
102/75kg Deadlift
Handstand Push ups
Post scaling and times to chalkboard/journals.
