Push, jump, pull. Three simple movements that are utilized in sport, combat and defense, as well as in every day life. Expressions of power and strength that, when trained, display the level of function and utility possible in an individual. When lacking, even basic activities of daily living become difficult. Today we train these moves over a duration of over 30 minutes- a total of 6 reps followed by rest. Heavy and high- then rest. Repeat, then rest.
When do you think this session will start to get tough? At what round do you imagine you will stop adding weight to the barbell? How far in will you doubt your ability to get those feet up on top of the box? Will you be able to get the chin over the pull up bar twice on every set? As always- the only way to REALLY KNOW… is to try it out. See you in class.
