CrossFit Malibu represented on the proving grounds of The Castro Family Ranch in Aromas- site of the first 3 CrossFit Games. The final WOD Dave chose for us is the first repeat of the 2016 Open- which is also the closing WOD for the 2014 Open. This was the first-ever Open workout done “for time”… meaning the clock is NOT going to save you. You have to finish this sucker. No finishing time means you didn’t finish the Open!
It also means that you need to scale this if there is any way it will take you more than 25 minutes to complete. (that is about 3x longer than top athletes take with this). Now, we are NOT going to cut you off… but athletes should consult with coaches about how to go about choosing Rx vs scaled well in advance of 3, 2, 1, GO. This is a 168 rep workout for EVERYONE… make a good decision.
