Today we work some fundamental skills and strength from 2 different domains: gymnastics and weightlifting. We start off with static work on the bars and rings featuring plenty of shoulder and midline strength development- and for some of you moving into new territory with hanging inversions. Next we move into the “king of midline stabilization” training with the overhead squat. Hopefully the gymnastics work will provide you with extremely prepared shoulder mobility and warmth so that overhead positioning will be better than ever.

Continue with moving into an inverted hang
