Lots of excitement at the Hut on Saturday morning’s installment of 16.2. The ‘Bu Crew kicked up their spirit game a few notches even though YOU thought it couldn’t get any better- so they took home an additional five points to stash away in their already commanding lead. Megan’s chocolate barbells were “Rx Plus” and Michelle’s costumes and signage sealed the deal. WIll any of the other groups be able to win these coveted team spirit points or will the Bu Crew make a hat trick out of it by the end of the week?!
Looking at the WOD pics below, Chloe commanded attention moving through all of the heavy weight, Rocky- our only teen in the Open- got into his second round of double unders, and Josh improved his score by a few reps after repeating during “Competitor’s Heat” number 6 to take home the 3rd highest score so far for the toes to bar, double unders and full cleans. Bu Crew sits on the top of the point totals with Dawn of the Deadlift close behind. We will have to see what Monday’s noon session has in store- as many athletes have yet to complete 16.2 and that is the final time slot for this Open WOD. The scoring is tight between those remaining 3 teams- Quad Squad, Coaches R Us and Luxtremely Strong.
Reminder that today we have a 6am WOD session- our new experimental session for the month of March- testing it out to see how attendance will be. IF you want this to become part of the standard schedule- come on in for a great group, see the sunrise and get an early jump on the week.
