The CrossFit Games Open begin at the end of the month and we are building our Intramural Teams. We would love to have more athletes join us in this 6 weeks series. Joining the Open means that you will compete in the biggest participatory sport that exists on earth. It means that you get to look forward to 5 challenging WODs- that you can do Rx or scaled. You will be teamed up with a few other CrossFit Malibuites. You can do the Open workout during any of the class sessions on Fridays or you can do the workout during the Saturday morning Big Group Competition time. If you haven’t yet thought about it- talk to one of the athletes whose name is on already on the sign up board. Chat with one of us coaches. Regardless of how long you’ve been doing CrossFit- regardless of how fit you are- it is a really fun experience.
Coming Saturday WOD is, once again at 9:30am. Look forward to another big group for a really fun team workout. These 9:30am sessions will lead right into the CrossFit Games Open… when the Saturday morning Open WODs will be run from 8:30-10:30am.
Wednesday’s WOD at 7 and 9am, 4 and 6pm
Midday Open Training Hour, Open Prep Strength class 5pm

Three 5-minute rounds for max reps at each station:
From 0:00-2:00, run 400 meters then double-unders
From 2:00-3:00, 35/25-lb. dumbbell push jerks
From 3:00-4:00, pull-ups
From 4:00-5:00, 35/25-lb. dumbbell front squats
Rest 5 minutes between rounds.
Post number of reps completed each round to comments.
