Monday 160215 Partner WOD: Row WB KB

While it seems as though the rest of the United States is on vacation in Malibu right now… you know where to find us today as well: we ARE indeed open for all regular class sessions on this President’s Day holiday/beach day.   Today is a post-Valentine’s Day Partner WOD… we had such a great turn-out on Saturday for our 9:30am Pre-Valentine Day Partner WOD that it makes perfect sense to run another one.  Better to share the suffering with another person than to go through this one alone.  Then again, it is also better to share in the accomplishment and the victory as well.  Part of any good relationship- the triumphs and tribulations are shared.  The difficulties allow the load to be dispersed and in times of joy the happiness is multiplied.

Monday WODs at 7 and 9am, 4 and 6pm
Midday Open Training Hour, Strength Specialty at 5pm
Partners Working Together WOD:
Today you and a special friend will do your best to amass as many calories on the rower and as many wall ball shots and kettlebell swings as you can. All sets will use a 45 second work and 15 second rest and transition ratio. Otherwise there is no other rest or transition time included in the WOD. Do not reset rower during the 24 minute session.
Part 1: 3 total rounds (6 minutes); 1 round=
A rows while B does wall ball shots
B rows while A does wall ball shots
Part 2: 6 total rounds (12 minutes); 1 round=
A rows while B does KB swings
B rows while A does KB swings
Part 3: (Yup, same as Part 1) 3 total rounds (6 minutes); 1 round=
A rows while B does wall ball shots
B rows while A does wall ball shots
Post teams’ total calories, wall ball shots and swings to chalkboard
