Friday 151002 “Mystery Girl WOD”

We recently announced that ALL specialty classes will now be held at 5pm. Here is the new line-up beginning next week:

Monday and Wednesdays- Strength class, 5pm
Tuesday- Gymnastics class, 5pm
Thursday- Olympic lifting technique class, 5pm
Specialty classes have a month-long focus.

We will also be offering HOMEWORK PLANs for the Gymnastics and Oly Technique specialty classes. All the homework sessions will be personalized and are written to take no more than 30 minutes each day. This is a great time to utilize open gym time that we have Monday-Friday @ 12-1pm

GYMNASTICS
Tuesday 5pm
The month of October will be focused on pull ups. The goal of these next 4 weeks is “firsts” first pull up, first kipping pull up, first muscle up, first bar muscle up.  If you have your firsts in these- you will continue building on that background.
So if it has been one of your goals for a while to make this happen, then sign up, stay committed, and see the RESULTS!  You must be present for AT LEAST 2 of the sessions at 5 pm in order to sign up for the homework

OLYMPIC LIFTING TECHNIQUE
Thursdays 5pm
The focus for the month of October in olympic lifting class will be snatches- with time spent on mobility and positioning as well at technique so that we can really excel on these movements. Homework will be personalized for where each individual is, technique and mobility wise. So if it has been a goal of yours to improve your overhead squat and/or snatch positioning, then sign up, stay committed, and see the RESULTS! You must be able to attend at least 2 of the sessions to sign up for the homework.

While I love to see everybody improve in all areas of CrossFit all the time, that is not the reality of life. So in terms of time commitment, I would encourage you to sign up for gymnastics OR olympic lifting for the month so that you do not stretch yourself too thin- time wise and physically. This also helps leave room for our meat and potatoes, CrossFit Group WODs. The stuff that helps us gain and maintain our general physical preparedness.
