Wednesday 150923 Three Rounds for Time

As the vernal equinox emerges and we say goodbye (technically) to another summer, we also draw our Go Outside and Play bingo game to a close.  It was a fun experience to watch the board fill up with progress, see the posts displaying proof of accomplishments and even more fun to hear conversations of new sports being practiced, new trails explored, PRs reached.  And while cause and effect can’t be made directly… it is satisfying to think that the gentle nudge provided by the bingo game encouraged some new experiences.
Looking through the chart below a few things stand out for ME:
  • At least 7 people reported visiting a doctor or health care provider- GREAT!
  • CrossFit lifestyle category was highly decorated with MANY getting out to other affiliates, to the Games, and getting body work
  • The “tip of the CF pyramid” is trying new sports- we had new skateboarders, surfers, rock climbers, body surfers and boogie boarders.
  • Participants got to the Hut more often and varied the times at which they trained
  • While most participants got involved in the CrossFit Journal- nobody explored the podcast possibilities.  ANYONE have one that is good that you can recommend to get us started?!  Thanks in advance.

400m run
21 wall ball shots (20/14#)
15 burpees over med ball – lateral or forward, either way.
Post time and scaling to chalkboard.
