Tuesday 150922 Tabata These

Tonight the Gymnastics Specialty class finishes a 4 week series of “Everything Rings and Parallel Bars“… and while each course continues to build on the blocks from previous weeks- each class can stand alone as well.  Come on in and work on your midline stability and develop those bodyweight movements that gymnasts make look SO darn EASY!

The next 4 week series in Gymnastics Specialty class begins on September 29th and will be “Pull-Up Centric.”  Join in and develop your static and kipping pull ups, work on bar and ring muscle ups, chest to bar and ring pull ups… like I said- “Pull Up Centric!”  This hour-long session is intended for all levels with general work related to body awareness and strength combined with refining the skills and drills YOU need to progress in these movements.  With regular attendance and putting in the work, you will improve by the end of the month.  Think: first deadhang pull up, stringing together kipping pull-ups, getting your initial muscle up and/or moving a few steps closer along that road.

Tuesday WOD at 6, 7, 9am and again at 4 and 6pm.
Noon midday open training, FUNdamentals at 8am, Gymnastics Finale at 5pm
Tabata These Five Movements:
Toes to bar
one minute break, record score and rotate
Push ups
one minute break, record score and rotate
Row for meters
one minute break, record score and rotate
Long legged sit ups
one minute break, record score and rotate
Pull ups
The Tabata interval is 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 intervals.
Post TOTAL number of reps completed for each movement
