In honor of the CrossFit Games ending and the CrossFit Games Team Series starting up for the second year- Our dedicated strength class for the month of September will be focused on the heavy hitters of The OPEN WODs. That’s right, never thought you would get to have the opportunity to do any of these WODs over again to test your fitness? This month is your chance. We will start with the earliest WODs and move through to the 2015 OPEN WODs. Below are listed which workouts we are doing on which days so you can plan to come in and show your improvement from the OPEN four years ago or maybe from the OPEN this year!!
Aug 31- 11.3- Squat clean and jerk
Sep 2- 11.4- Burpees, overhead squats and muscle ups
Sep 7-NO CLASS
Sept 9– 11.6- Thrusters and chest-to-bar pull ups
Sep 14-12.2- Snatch
Sep 16-13.4- Clean and jerk and toes to bar
Sep 21- 14.2- Overhead squats and chest-to-bar pull ups
Sep 23- 14.3- Deadlifts and box jumps
Sep 28- 15.1/a- Toes to bar, deadlifts, snatches- then set a 1RM clean and jerk
Sep 31-15.4- Handstand push ups and cleans
Labor Day Reminder: as tradition holds… we will be closed entirely for Labor Day on Monday September 7th. We maintain that since our jobs are actually more closely aligned with those in the manual labor industries… that we should get the day off- so we do! And if you disagree, please contact our Union and lodge a formal complaint : )
Tuesday WODs are run at 6, 7, and 9am, then again at 4 and 6pm
FUNdamentals 8am, Noon Midday Open Training, Gymnastics specialty at 5pm
