The Sunday early morning is the final day of our Summer Water Series course.  We have spent the last 3 sessions learning and developing ocean skills in diving waves and navigating surf.  We have swam, body surfed, boogie boarded, surfed and some stand up paddled.  Definitely a great way to begin the first few hours of the morning- watching the sun come up over the Santa Monica Mountains while being in the ocean!

Following our final session- we invite anyone and everyone to join us at our usual spot- West Zuma near Trancas- for a beach WOD and then playing in and around the ocean.  In the water, on the sand, in the waves.  Bring anyone that is willing to come with you: for the workout, for the time in the water and/or both!  WOD begins at 9am and we will continue playing on surfboards, body boards and in the waves until about noon.  Free parking on PCH (though it starts to fill up between 8:30am and 9am.  OR pay for parking and drive all the way to the end of the Zuma Beach Parking lot.  To get an idea of how many people we can expect… please sign up on the chalkboard in the small room!

Noon Open Training Hour, Oly Strength class 6pm
Tabata This Stuff
8 sets of max reps each movement for 20s ON, 10s OFF:
Muscle ups
Double unders
DB thrusters (45/30#)
Row (for distance NOT cals!)
Post total number of reps for each movement to chalkboard/journals
Ex: tech/102/47/669m (40#)

Skill work will be done for each movement and scaling options are available as always!
