Thursday 150723 Two Rounds of Tabata Half Sets

Quite a few CrossFit Malibuites were down in Hermosa Beach on Wednesday morning watching the first individual event of the CrossFit Games 2015.  A swim around the pier, a 2 miles on a paddle board and back around the pier for a final 500m swim… and the Games are officially ON!  Masters and Teens have been competing since Tuesday and will culminate on Thursday evening.  The Teams and Individuals continue through the weekend.  If you can’t make it down to Carson to watch in person- the entire weekend is available live on the internet HERE.  And we will get together at the Hut at 5:55pm on Friday evening to watch the live feed for individual men and women competing in the tennis center.

***Saturday 8:45am WOD: “name your post-test”… repeat any WOD that you done in the past- you MUST have baseline data so that you can measure your progress since you last did it.  Many people will choose Benchmark Girl WODs.  Let us know if you want some assistance in deciding what to test.  Decide in advance- don’t wait until Saturday morning!

FUNdamentals 8am, Power Lifting Series Part II begins 5pm
Tabata 4 sets for max reps each of:
Hand release push ups
Hang power snatch (45/30kg)
Ring/bar dips
Sumo deadlift high pull
30 second transition to next movement and one minute break before starting round two:
4 sets for max reps each of:
Hand release push ups
Hang power snatch
Ring/bar dips
Sumo deadlift high pull
30 second transition to next movement
Post totals for each movement for entire WOD
(add all snatch reps, all pushup reps, all dip reps, all SDLHP reps)
